Parents, though we may not want to, it is our job to regulate the amount of time our kids spend online each day. We need to make sure our children have time for other valuable activities: Eating regular & healthy meals, reading, homework, writing, physical activities, extracurricular activities, etc.โฃ
โฃ
If not, these are just ๐๐๐๐ of the negative effects too much screen time can have on your children:โฃ

โฃ
๐ ๐๐ข๐ณ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ณ ๐ต๐ช๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐จ๐ฐ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐ต๐ฐ ๐ฃ๐ฆ๐ฅ – Your children may develop problems with falling asleep as they continue obsessing about the internet, video games, and TV programs during the night.โฃ
โฃ
๐ ๐๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ต๐ข๐ญ ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ต๐ฉ – Increased possibility of developing depression, anxiety, and attention problems, including ADD and ADHD.โฃ

Luckily, itโs finally starting to warm up, and summer will be here before we know it! We encourage you to make a list with your kids of all the things they can do outdoors, or away from electronics. Drop your favorite ideas in the comments! โฌ๏ธ
