Teenage Years Can be Turbulent Times
So much of our children’s lives take place away from their parents. This is a natural occurrence, as itโs part of their growing independence; ๐ฃ๐ถ๐ต ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ญ๐บ ๐ธ๐ข๐บ ๐ต๐ฐ ๐ฃ๐ฆ ๐ฑ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ด๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ต ๐ช๐ฏ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ช๐ณ ๐ญ๐ช๐ท๐ฆ๐ด ๐ช๐ด ๐ต๐ฉ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ถ๐จ๐ฉ ๐ค๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ท๐ฆ๐ณ๐ด๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ.

The teenage years can be turbulent times, with many new stresses and challenges along the way. Spending more time talking to friends and less time talking to parents is a totally normal part of teenagers establishing that independence. Parents who are interested in them, who care about them, and who really understand them.

If you can find a way to consistently talk to your teen, it shows that you are interested in their life and that you care about how they are thinking and feeling. This also provides a vital balance against the uncertainties and insecurities they can face when they are away from home.
