As a parent, itās normal to feel a sense of grief as your child grows up. Gone are the days when they depended on you and soon, theyāll be out on her own.ā£ā£Even as adults, we have to make sure we deal with our emotions in a healthy way. Donāt allow your feelings or emotions to hold your child back. They should not feel guilty for growing and moving forward in life.ā£ā£Keep in mind that you and your teen donāt have to agree on everything. Let them become their own person and establish themself as an individual, as long as they do it in a safe way.ā£ā£Youāve done your part to raise them into the human being they are, and at some point, once they are adults themselves, it will be time to take a step back and let them experience all that youāve done your best to prepare them for.ā£ā£
