Parents, itโ€™s obvious that staying connected with your kids is important. Having a healthy relationship, a strong line of communication, weโ€™ve discussed it all! โฃ

But HOW to stay connected is the tricky part. So, here are some simple, but effective, ways to stay connected with your teen!๐Ÿ‘‡โฃ

โ‡พ ๐’๐ญ๐จ๐ฉ ๐ฐ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎโ€™๐ซ๐ž ๐๐จ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Ÿ๐จ๐œ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ. For example, put down your phone or shut your computer screen. Even for just a few seconds, give your child your full attention.โฃ

โ‡พ ๐’๐ก๐จ๐ฐ ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ. Encourage your child to expand on what theyโ€™re saying, and explore their views, opinions, feelings, expectations or plans.โฃ
