Here are four helpful tips you and your children may want to start implementing!๐โฃ
โฃ
1๏ธโฃ. ๐๐ต๐ข๐ณ๐ต ๐ข ๐๐ฐ๐ถ๐ณ๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ – Tracking your day-to-day mood can give you time to pause and reflect on how you’re feeling, especially if you’ve noticed that you’re particularly upset or depressed. It’s also a good way to record important milestones and positive, exciting things that are going on in your life.โฃ

2๏ธโฃ. ๐๐ฏ๐ฑ๐ญ๐ถ๐จ – Most of the things we do and tasks we have require technology to some degree. But, taking some time off of computers and phones can be a helpful way to clear your mind and spend a few quiet moments to yourself.โฃ

3๏ธโฃ. ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ ๐ข ๐๐ช๐ด๐ต ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐ฐ๐ฑ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐๐ต๐ณ๐ข๐ต๐ฆ๐จ๐ช๐ฆ๐ด – Sometimes, when stressful situations or emotions arise, it can be difficult to cope. Creating a physical list of soothing activities can be a helpful visual reminder. Anything can be on this list as long as it is comforting to you and not harmful!โฃ
โฃ
4๏ธโฃ. ๐๐ด๐ฌ ๐ง๐ฐ๐ณ ๐๐ฆ๐ญ๐ฑ – Requesting help is not easy, but it is sometimes necessary. If you’re starting to feel overwhelmed, reach out to someone you trust. Create a network of friends and others (teachers, extended family, etc.) who you can fall back on for support.โฃ
